The best points of LED technology (Light Emitting Diode - dioda elektroluminescencyjna) are flexible forms and dimensions, long life-span, relatively low weight, the highest energy efficiency and a very broad spectrum of colours (marked with the abbreviation ‘CIE’ on the chart). These factors constitute the source of inspiration for graphics, designers, architects and specialists of the advertising branch – they offer innovative possibilities, generate new designing challenges and decide on the direction of new advertising media development.
The basis for understanding LED technology is RGB – one of the spatial models of colours the abbreviation of which has been constructed by putting together the first letters of the English words: R-red, G-green, B-blue. This model is based on the perceptive capacity of the human eye, thanks to which whilst observing from a greater distance, it is possible to evoke an impression of seeing any colour by means of mixing three beams of light (red, green and blue) in set proportions. Proper proportions and intensity of colours (RGB) make it possible to create a full palette of colours. A great asset of the RGB technology is high brightness and harshness of colours owing to which one may use the medium even in direct sunlight - without the reflex effect.
The real pixel technology offers actual participation of each pixel in the displayed image, whilst virtual pixel is a system of better management of individual diodes ensuring better screen definition (density of pixel per square metre) at the same surface and number of pixels.
Thanks to diodes of high efficiency and high refresh rate, DIGIWALLs are able to display graphically complicated images with very dynamic fluidity and in the full palette of colours.
